Keyboard

The keyboard on my iPhone 12 keeps jumping and moving. It won’t stay still for me to be able to type. I don’t know how to explain it. I took it into T-Mobile and the tech could see what I was talking about but he couldn’t diagnose what the issue was. Is anybody else having this issue and if so if you’ve gotten it resolved how did you get it resolved. Also my voicemails are not coming through properly. Someone will say that they called me and left a voicemail but I’m not getting it or I’ll get it a couple days later.

Hello darece,

It sounds as though you're having issues with your iPhone keyboard. We'll need to ask a few questions to help determine the best options toward resolution.

  • So, the issue is clear, can you provide a more detailed example of the behavior you're experiencing?
  • Would you let us know if this happens in a specific app or it occurs in all apps you use the keyboard with?
  • What's the exact iOS version you currently have installed on your iPhone?
  • Do you have a screen protector or case on your iPhone? If so, does removing these items help?
  • Are there any troubleshooting actions you've already performed? This information will help us avoid requesting you repeat steps.

If the screen isn't working on your iPhone or iPad

Best regards.

I have the most recent update. I use the SwiftKey as my main keyboard. I don't know how to explain in on point-specific terms other than it jumps as I try to text. I hit keys I don't mean to or it simply jumps/glitches out and I don't even touch a key. It happens regardless of the app I am using. It happens all the time. Is there a way to self-video as I type I would send in a selfie video but I don't know how. I do have a screen protector but it is the same one that has been on the phone for over a year. The only troubleshooting action was taking it into a T-Mobile at which time the tech did see what I was talking about but could not diagnose. It seems as if I need to buy a new phone, which I CAN NOT afford, or just stop using my phone.
