Make sure you are completely up-to-date with macOS Monterey. Obtain the latest drivers from https://support.wacom.com/hc/en-us for your Wacom Intuos tablet model.

If you see a message about Apple being unable to check the driver/software for malware, that means that Wacom didn't notarize the installer, pkg, etc. It may also state that the installation isn't signed by an Apple Developer. In either case, you can Right-Click or Ctrl-Leftclick the installer and choose Open. This will override the protections Apple has in place and allow you to install the software. You should only do this when you trust the installation and if you downloaded directly from Wacom's website it is going to be trustworthy. Newer versions should really be signed and notarized. But if you have a rather old device, it is possible Wacom hasn't updated the drivers lately.

If you see a System Extensions are blocked message you'll need to go to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> General and unlock the dialog box with the gold lock then click Allow.

If it mentions Privacy settings such as Accessibility, Full Disk Access, etc. that is in the same dialog box under the Privacy tab. You'll need to grant access to the Wacom software there possibly.
