If I wanted to return a Mac to get a newer Mac would I be able to do that? And if so will y’all minus the exact amount I paid for the Mac?

Check the store's return policy. If you're outside it, use Apple's trade-in program or sell it to someone else.

For reference, most of the people who answer questions here are other customers.
