I got my Apple Watch in august. I was able to see trends after the 180 days. About a month or so ago I wiped my current phone and then redownloaded everything from iCloud. My trends aren’t there anymore, but can clearly see previous activity

How can I get my trends back on Apple Watch? I’ve punched in my birth date again and that brought the subject of trends back, but it says I have to use the watch for 180 days. I’ve had my watch since august and had already unlocked trends. How can I get them back? I can see the activity from august is still there.

Hi Soccer-4,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. It sounds like this happened after erasing your iPhone and restoring using an iCloud backup. Is that right? Since Health data is not included in iCloud backup that may be what's happened. This article provides further details about what is not included in iCloud backup: What does iCloud back up?

Does your Health app on iPhone show any trends? You can find that by:

1.Tap Summary at the bottom left, then scroll down to Trends to view any recent trends.
2.If Health has detected trends, you can do the following:
•View more data about a trend: Tap its graph.
•View more trends: Tap View Health Trends.

Check out View your data in Health on iPhone.

For future reference, if you want a backup that includes Health data, you can create encrypted backups from a computer: About encrypted backups on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Have a great day!
