But still there in my gmail mail label folders
any suggestions on how to sync them with apples mail labels for which they were there before and think they have been lost due to a update or I have unknowing changed some setting's

Are the folders showing, but empty in the Gmail account section of the mailbox list?
You could try rebuilding the Mailbox. The command is in the Mailbox menu.
