Setting up custom email in iCloud+ using Wix domain

Hi there,

I'm moving my custom email address over from GSuite to iCloud+ and have become stuck with the DNS settings. I purchased my domain from Wix and haven't been able to figure out how to enter the DKIM record.

The instructions I have on iCloud says the host name should be: sig1._domainkey

However in Wix, it will not allow me to enter a host name that doesn't include my domain name. Has anyone else managed to make this work?

Thanks!

Emma

Hey emzadoodle,

Here's how adding custom domain works:

Step 1. Enter the domain name and choose if you want to share it with your Family Sharing group.Step 2. If you have existing email addresses for the domain, add them and assign them to members of your Family Sharing group (if applicable).Step 3. Set up the domain and select your default email address.

This information can be found here: Add a custom email domain for iCloud Mail on iCloud.com

Custom Email Domain isn't available in all regions.
