Cleaning the iMac Screen

Anyone have any advice OR tidbits for cleaning an iMac? We've had ours for almost two-months. I have used our little black microfiber that came in the box, but I am wondering if there is another way to clean the screen.

Not that I've been using it on the new iMac screen, but does anyone know exactly why a glass cleaner like Windex with ammonia is not recommended? I've been using that on the old G3 with no ill effects for many years. How Is the glass for the new iMacs different and why would using it on those be harmful?

The "Everything Mac" book that came with the machine says to dampen a soft, lint-free cloth with water and wipe the screen. You're not supposed to spray anything directly on the screen. I've used the little black cloth and it seems to work. My local Apple Reseller suggested using a micro-fiber cloth. I purchased one but I haven't used it yet/

Do not waste your money on any magic clean screen cleaners.

Simply take a micro fibre cloth submerge in luke warm water and a bit of washing up liquid, rinse and clean. Then dry off withe a dry cloth. Done. Smear free shines all round.

Also good for doing the keyboard too. Spray a bit of ant bacterial spray on to make it nice and safe or repeat the above with baby sterilising liquid.
