Favicon-Wix and other websites- Generic

My Wix website has a favicon. This favicon displays properly in the tab bar and has always done so. It also used to display in my Safari home page favorites, but has not done so properly for quite a while now. Instead of the image, my favorites bookmark just shows the letter J. This is not acceptable with a multi-million dollar company- fix this issue and please reply with something more along the lines of : I will look into this further because websites out there should have the right and privilege to show their signature logo on the the favorites thumbnails on the biggest phone company in the world! Please help your dedicated apple customers with real response- please. And see photo for examples for some websites show their logo and some don’t, WHY?
