I have a MacBook 13' early 2014 running Catalina 10.15.7 with a Brother MFC 7840W and cannot upgrade ControlCenter app. Doesn't Brother have ControlCenter for 64bit?

There is no such thing as a 13" Early 2014 MacBook. You should post to the MacBook Air forum area, this forum area is for 12" Retina MacBooks, 2015-2017.
