Transfer of Apple ID to new iPhone

I have transferred my Apple ID to my new iPhone and transferred all my data from my old phone to the new one. I am now trying to delete all data from my old phone which asks for my Apple ID which is the same for both my new and old phone. Will using my Apple ID on my old phone to delete my data have any effect on my new phone
