Did you buy an unlocked phone and/or compatible with AT&T's network? If so, you need to take it to an AT&T store to have them set it up to work on their network. My spouse bought an unlocked phone last yr. & it was a pain to setup it up to work on their network but the good news is he was able to do it. He has an android but I'm assuming the process is the same.
There is no such thing as an iPhone 14 Pro.
