adding characters to iPhone keyboard

hello, I just recently got an iPhone 4 and I'm wondering if there is anyway I can add the following characters to the keyboard:

ȝ ʿ ḥ ḫ ẖ ḳ ṯ ḏ

currently I have to copy and paste these characters from notes every time I want to use them, and it is quite a hassle. Is there anyway to make a shortcut for these? and is there an international keyboard that has these as characters/special characters?

thanks

Try setting the International Keyboards by doing these steps:

1. Open "Settings"

2. Go to "General"

3. Go to "Keyboard" and then tap on the "International Keyboards" category

4. Then go to "Add New Keyboard" - this will take you to a menu where you can select the language of your choice.

I hope that helps... 🙂

No. Is this for Egyptian transliteration or something similar?

I think the only way to make these using a keyboard would be with a hardware keyboard with the layout set to US Extended.

You can also use an app like Unicode Map, but it is still copy/paste I think.
