Charging my magic keyboard directly, not via a Mac.

Can I use a 20W USB-C Power Adapter to charge my magic keyboard safely? Not the magic keyboard for iPad, the standalone magic keyboard that comes with a woven USB-C to lightning cable.

I will like to add that I plan to use the magic keyboard with my iPad (5th generation) which is listed as a compatible device.
