I have an iPad Pro 9.7.
probably a few years old now.
i need a new Smart Cover but what generation iPad do I have.
It’s very confusing.

Look on the back of the iPad, just below the word iPad and you should see a model number. It should look like A1111. Use that A number to find our your model here. Identify your iPad model - Apple Support
