iPad touch screen lags

On my iPad mini 5 often starts to lag the screen, it can just ignore the touch or just work poorly, for example, I click in one place and it responds in another, it's just the corners of the screen. to solve the problem I only need to turn off and turn on the iPad, but it's inconvenient, especially in the game. Can anyone help?

This problem is present in all programs, even on the desktop, and the problem disappears for a while not after a restart, after turning off and on the iPad. My software version is 15.3.1. I also noticed that when I don't use the iPad for a long time and start using it, there are no problems for a long time, and I can use the iPad for longer without any problems.

n1de,

Understood. We previously provided If the screen isn't working on your iPhone or iPad which can help us isolate things a bit more. Since the behavior is intermittent, we'll want to ensure that it's not caused by accessories attached to the iPad or potential debris.

  1. "Make sure that your screen is clean and free of any debris or water.
  2. Disconnect any Lightning or USB-C accessories. If your screen works after removing an accessory, try using a different outlet, cable, or charger.
  3. Remove any cases or screen protectors."

If the behavior continues after following the steps above, please contact Apple Support here: Get Support

Take care!

Hi n1de,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities! From our understanding, you are running into an issue with the screen on your iPad mini, is that right?

Do you notice this in a specific app or does it happen in multiple? You mentioned that restarting your iPad will resolve it temporarily, is the iPadOS software up to date? The latest available for your iPad is iPadOS 15.3.1.

Are there any app updates available as well: How to manually update apps on your Apple device.

Check out this article for additional troubleshooting: If the screen isn't working on your iPhone or iPad.

Hope that helps!
