iPad go slow
I have a 4 year old iPad mini running ios15. It is very slow. Started with mail now lots of things. Should I reset to factory settings? If I do that will it effected linked data on iPhone and MacBook?

Given that iPad Mini 4th generation model was released in 2015 (and its 7 years old hardware may not have the performance of newer iPad models), I would try these two basic troubleshooting steps to improve its behavior:
A "forced" restart of your iPad:
If the issue persists, something could have gone wrong during the latest update procedure.
I would try to install a fresh copy of iPadOS. To do this, create a full backup of your iPad (1), then restore it to factory settings (you need a computer to perform this step) and, in the end, set it up as new (2).
When done, restore data from your previously made backup (3).
