transfer of music recording to iPad or iMac from Mini Disc player
The mini disc has coaxial and Optical output can I transfer to my iPad and/or iMac ? Is there a cable available or do I need a conversion unit
Sorry no, not to my knowledge.
There is no way to transfer music from a mini-disc recorder/player to a computer (PC or Mac, or iOS device) other than playing it through your sound card and recording it. Sony specifically disabled this ability and, most likely, this is one of the reasons that Mini Disc Players did not take off.
