EAP authentication causing app crash when WiFi forced on via restrictions policy

Anyone else having this issue? Beginning with iPad OS 15, devices managed by our MDM are encountering an app crash when WiFi is forced on via restrictions policy. This issue is predictable, and can be repeated fairly easily on a "test" device meeting the parameters below.

Symptoms:

WiFi takes slightly longer to authenticate after a reboot, or client roaming from WAP to WAP.
Settings app freezes with a white screen, and times out (app crashes) after approximately 15-20 seconds.

Parameters:

This occurs in iPad OS 15+ (does not occur on 14.8.1 or lower).
Occurs when a restrictions profile is applied with Forces WiFi on.
Occurs only on devices using 802.1x WiFi (EAP) authentication (does not occur on devices using open or WPA/2/3).

Thanks for the response and links!

Unfortunately, we're stuck in between two support structures. We've contacted Apple Support of which it was recommended we contact our MDM provider. After contacting our MDM provider's support, it was shared that their engineers have a case open with Apple as well for the same issue, and had received word that a known issue exists when the parameters meet the ones mentioned in my previous post. Overall, I'm looking to confirm if others can replicate the same issue as we can replicate the issue on our end rather easily and consistently.

Moving forward, we're looking to shift our WiFi authentication structure from 802.1x to WAP3 as a temporary work-around.
