Deleting apps on kids phone

Double check the restrictions settings on your child’s iPhone. You may have Screen Time Restrictions set to ON.

Open Settings ➔ Screen Time ➔ Content & Privacy Restrictions ➔ iTunes & App Store Purchases ➔ Deleting Apps : Set this to ALLOW

Once you have confirmed that the above is set correctly on your child’s iPhone and you still cannot completely delete apps (some built-in apps cannot be deleted), then Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

• Press and quickly release Volume UP button
• Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
• Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

Thank you for clarifying that.

Then it is working as it should. These are builtin apps, and they cannot be deleted. Best you can do is restrict them through Screen Time.

Can you list some of those apps that you are attempting to delete?

Deleting and App on an iPhone:

You need to delete it from your home screen. Hold you finger on the icon, until it wiggles. Them, tap the white-encircled, letter "i", and then it should delete. But Note: Builtin apps cannot be deleted.
