Limited Features on IPhone why
Why are there so many missing features on iPhones you can’t pause a video while recording to add to it. I would think that as much as the phones cost they would be superior to the rest

Thank you for your reply, kym136
Following the link above: it says the app is called "Video Cam Pro".
We are all Apple users, like yourself in this community, so Apple won't read your opinions here.
For me, new technology often has a steep learning curve, before I adjust to doing old things in new ways.
Have you also focused on what you can do on your iPhone ?
(Eg: Some people prefer to capture video "clips", and assemble them, with transitions between.)
Apple wants people to be happy with their purchases, and provides lots of ideas, tips, and "how to" info.

Thank You For your reply. However this is a basic feature and we shouldn’t have to download apps to do this. I’m wondering why I ever bought an Apple phone now. Limited features, limited Gifs, on and on.
Do you know the name of the app?
Hi kym136,
Seems there's an app in the App Store, for anyone who wants to add pause and resume.
Haven't used it myself, so have no idea of its worth.

All the best :-)
Or load the Apple iMovie app, and edit the movie you’re now creating directly on your iPhone.
And log some feedback with Apple: Product Feedback - Apple
"Why" is not a question anyone here can address.
We are not Apple We can't speak for why they made the design decisions they did.
Yes I understand- Thank You 🥰
Thank You I will try that. I just switched to iPhone so I will come here to learn Thank You Ver Very Much
You're welcome, Kim 136.
Thank you for your kind and thoughtful reply.
All the best :-)
