Ringtone/ alerts not working

There is a ringer switch on the side of your iPhone

Or you could try this: Settings<Sounds & Haptics from there try changing the ringer and alerts bar.

Use the side control and flip the switch up for ringer.

Did you check the ringer settings in the settings app?

I've had this same issue. Sometimes I get get it to come out of it if I change the ringtone to a different tone. Just an idea to try the next time it happens. Mine has been having issues with not sounding alert/ring tones since one of the 14 version updates late summer 2021. I keep hoping they'll fix what they broke with another update but no luck yet.

Yes -- over and over. I've turned the phone on and off several times.

One of my XR iPhone is having ring tone problem. Sometimes work and most time hardly hear the ring tone. Had checked, reset tones etc still doesn’t solve the issues. Pl advise
