Have discovered that the cinema mode was accidental turned on somehow!!

apple watch series 6 screen won't move and down in clock mode did work fine for months i have the apple series 6 watch that with clock face screen can touch screen and go side to side to get new face options but up and down when in the clock mode won't go up to get past notifaction or down to view battery charge levels. up and down works fine in the apps
