iPhone 12 mini MagSafe stopped working?

My 12 mini seems to have a problem with charging wirelessly … it charges for a couple of minutes and then stops. I’ve tried this on both MagSafe and standard Qi chargers. Any idea to fix this? Has anyone heard of this issue before?

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

Did you switch off the optimised charging option in the settings for the battery?

To rule out a software issue, set your phone back to factory settings, using your computer.

Then set it up manually, without using the backup, and see if you can charge your battery completely, using the MagSafe.
