An App Store issue

So right , I deleted Instagram because it was acting up & then I tried to re download it but I’m having issues because it’s saying something about a billing & something about a verification where I need to put my password before I try to download the app.

App Store I had recently deleted the app “instagram” off my iPhone. When I go to App Store to try to download it again, it sends me to something that says “ verification required” when I put in my password, it just sends me to my billing info and I push ok so it updates it... but still won’t let me download it and goes to the same thing every time. I use to just download apps and put in my Apple ID password. Don’t know why it’s bringing me to this and still won’t let me download the app

Cannot download apps from App Store without having to verify payment plan or method even free ones. It never did that before now it does why I was just wondering what steps I need to take to be able to bypass the payment verification and password that the App Store is asking for upon downloading an app it never had done that before until I updated to iOS 17+ I’m not positive I had to take care of it I’ve looked and tried and looked and tried, and it’s just been failure failure. I really appreciate and think the community for all the help that I may receive thank you guys very kindly for your time.

I can’t download apps I’ve deleted So when I go to update or download a app I’ve already deleted it won’t let me all that pops up is Verification required and it’s telling me to sign to view my billing Information what do I have to do???????

Did you already check the general troubleshooting mentioned in this article?

If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support
