help, my mac book air 13 screen is not working

I did some trouble shooting And it looks like the mac book itself is working. My problem is with the screen itself, after I open the mac book the screen truns on as normal but 3 seconds later the screen itself turns off, the backlight stays on, so I know that that is not the problem, what can I do?
