alarm is not playing selected music

Question

alarm is not playing selected music

My iPhone no longer plays my selected song as my alarm, but just defaults to the standard alarm.

The chosen song is definitely downloaded on my phone so I can't work out why it's not working.

Tried all that. Still no joy. Also, the Bluetooth connection between my iPhone and my iMac keeps failing. Could that be part of the problem? It was fine until recently.

Hello stevegerrard68,

In order to play music that is from Apple Music as an alarm for your alarm tone, you'll need to try a few steps here:

Turn off Dolby Atmos audio in Settings > Music on your device.
Then, be sure that you have the song downloaded to your music library as well
If you downloaded it previously, you may remove it and download again to help as well.
