My wife has a work phone and her personal phone. She routinely send me messages from both, which both show in MESSAGES. When I respond, how do I know which number (or which phone) is going to receive the response? Is there a way to know which phone she is texting from? Thanks.

You may even wish to set up two separate contacts. One could be set like this: Wife and the other as Wife- Work.

If you tap the contact name, then "info" the number or email marked with "recent" is the one you're replying to.

Thanks. It seems like an oversight to make two contacts because someone has two cell numbers. If a person has two email addresses, you can discern which one is responding to you. Thanks for the suggestion.
