Welcome to Apple Support Communities!
You will want to change your group name in the Contacts app on your Mac.
Rename a group:
1. In the Contacts app on your Mac, select the group in the sidebar.
2. Choose Edit > Rename Group.

These changes will then be reflected in the Mail app to resolve your issue.
