Group Messages not working

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. If having issues with group messages being sent or received as individual messages, it's possible that these messages are being sent as a group SMS message. Check out these details below:

These messages also appear in green text bubbles and go through your carrier. Group SMS messages don’t support multimedia attachments, like photos or videos. All responses in a group SMS are sent as individual text messages and the recipients can’t see the other responses from the group.

Just to confirm, is there anyone in the group conversations not using an Apple device? If not, when the issue occurs do you notice any error messages in Settings > Messages before you disable the setting and restart your device?

Got it. Thanks for the answer, CoolMegatron907. Let's try a couple of other steps together to see if we can narrow this down and get you back to normal use of your group messages.

Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Close down the messages app and restart your iPhone, then test.Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Make sure to be update to the latest iOS version. For your iPhone, that is iOS 15.4.Delete messages on iPhone - Follow the 'Delete a conversation' section, the recreate the group text with all members and test.Use Messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Create a new group message with only iPhone users and test. Then try the same thing with only the android users and test.

I have done the step you have suggested and still having the same problem. Also it is only one group text that does not work. Others that I have work fine all the time. 🥴
