FaceTime isn’t working on my Apple watch

I have an Apple Watch se and have used family setup to set it up, and now FaceTime does not work, it says set up an account, how do I set it up

Walkie talkie I have a series 6 watch, and my wife has a series 8 watch. We would like to connect using walkie talkie, but the invites are not received by either of us. We have followed all instructions on apple support, so FaceTime is working and set up correctly on our iPhones (XR for me, and 11 for my wife)

Whenever I try to connect with my son's Apple Watch it says he’s not available Whenever I try to connect with my sons Apple Watch it says he’s not available. He is. His FaceTime app includes his email. We don’t share Apple IDs. We’ve both rebooted our phones and watches. Still won’t work. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

FaceTime in its truest sense is an iPhone/iPad application, because most people use FaceTime for Video calling, which isn't possible on Apple Watch. You can make a FaceTime call for audio only, however.
