When you set-up your new iPad, did you use Apple’s QuickStart feature to set-up your new iPad - or did you restore a backup of your old iPad on your new device? If so, you will have transferred all data and settings from your old iPad, including your email accounts.

Email accounts can be easily removed if you wish to do so:

Settings > Mail >Accounts > [Your email account] > Delete Account

Alternatively, you can setup of your new iPad again - as new - erasing all data and settings:

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Erase All Content & Settings
