iOS update

hello, I have an iPhone 6, 32GB, and is bought last February 2018/ it's still working well but my phone is stuck at iOS 12.5.5. Even if I want to update it, it always says "your software is up to date." Which made my phone insufficient in storage because the System has almost 10+GB. It's also hard for me to use it since it always lags and I'm not able to experience new iOS features, I can't even download Netflix since it requires iOS 13 and up, so I wasn't able to download everything in the app store. The only way I can see know is to buy a new one but we're not that rich, so I'm hoping there's still a way. Thank you.

The absolute truth is that there is NO way. The iPhone 6 is now outdated technology and can only be updated to iOS version 12.5.5. It cannot be updated beyond that. You are correct, the only way to use higher versions of the iOS is to purchase a newer model iPhone.
