Battery replacement for MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2013)

I moved to Ecuador and now need a battery replacement for my MacAir. The cycle count is at 378. Can I replace the battery myself? I was in the States last year and they couldn't order the battery in time for me to have it replaced at the Apple Store...

MacBook Battery not detected My mid-2014 15" Retina MacBook Pro running Big Sur 11.7.2 [up to date] has stopped detecting its battery. It boots and runs seemingly normally, but perhaps(?) a little slowly/glitchy when connected to AC power. The battery was replaced by a (now out of business) 3rd party vendor last Spring. MacBook pro 13" A1502 Early 2015 Retina Battery issues Hi everyone. My MacBook's battery swell 3 years ago and i had it removed; but as i couldn't find the original battery, i had to keep going on without battery and as you know it runs really slow... I've showed it to apple store and other computer services. the problem is that they say even with the battery it works the same!!! still too slow!! they say it's a Motherboard problem because it gets too hot. but they can't find out the problem. Could anyone help please? i thought with a new battery it fixes but seems not to be true....

how does replacing a battery work? say i want to repclace my battery is it ok to go to a third party store? of is going to apple the better choice to get a “original battery” or doesn’t something like that exist? thanks in advance!

You'll be better off getting Apple to do it for you. 3rd party batteries, even those sold by reputable vendors, have reputations of being substandard to what Apple supplies.
