Apple Storage

I just upgraded my storage to 50GB and was looking to get a new iphone. Would the storage transfer over to the new phone, or would I have to repurchase the storage?

It'll be available to any unit logged into that Apple ID, or in its Family Sharing group if set up, but is separate from its internal storage.
