How do I et rid of message "Ready for your new iPhone"

I bought a new phone for my mum from apple recently and now my iphone has this message. I have done the backup to the cloud, but the message did not disappear. Also, my phone is not ringing and going straight to voicemail - are these two issues related? Any advice appreciated!

My phone pops up saying I have a message from Apple or something I can’t remember right now it hasn’t done it in awhile but then it just did it after I did my update. But the message is almost like in the background and it ask me to accept My phone pops up saying I have a text message but not like any other messages on the right of the screen it gives me the option to accept it on the left I can’t remember what it says because it’s been awhile since it has happened but just a little bit ago it did it again after updating the phone. I know awhile ago it told me it was doing it because it needed updated but now that it is updated. It’s saying it again.

Not Ringing

Make sure Silent mode is off: How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode - Apple Support.
Make sure Focus is off: Turn a Focus on or off on iPhone - Apple Support.
Make sure Silence Unknown Callers is off: Detect and block spam phone calls - Apple Support.

If the issue persists, Restart your iPhone - Apple Support and try again.

If you still have issues, contact your carrier: Contact a third-party vendor - Apple Support.
