How to unlock WD My Passport

I have a WD My Passport for MAC 1 TB hard drive. When I upgraded to an OS, the hard drive suddenly got locked up. I tried the password I had before the upgrade and it still won't unlock. I have tried the WD utilities, WD Discovery, and WD Security. None of them worked. The WD security only puts a password on the hard drive. However, when I unlock the drive, I get a different prompt to still unlock the drive. It seems this prompt is an Apple OS security app and has nothing to do with WD. I still remember the old password I had prior to the OS upgrade, but it won't work. I'm not sure if Apple puts a default password on it that I do not know. I have attached a screen shot of the prompt I'm getting whenever I plug in my external hard drive. If anyone has a solution for it, I greatly appreciate it. I have tons of photos of my eldest daughter in that drive plus a few photos that I do not want to lose.
