How long does my backup stay on iCloud? I may want to delete some of the older data. Am I able to manage this task?

No. But you can exclude data from future backups. Go to Settings/[your name]/iCloud/Manage Storage/Backups/[your specific backup for your device) and you can turn off anything you don’t want backed up.

A backup is retained for up to 180 days if you disable or stop using backup. Otherwise, your device will continually backup and the older backup will be removed.
Can I change the 180 days of backup to 90 days?
