Same notification on multiple device

Hey why do I get same notification on my mac and iphone at same time when I add any email to my apple id?

Both mac and iphone are registered under same user

You will get the message almost every time you are trying to access your Apple ID or iCloud page, just for security reasons.

And it will show up on every iOS , macOS or watchOS device, that can receive the verification code, just to make sure, that you will get the code needed.
