You don't.

But you can sell it and then buy a new Watch with the desired case.

Or if it is damaged then use Get Support link at the top right of this page for options.

Apple Watch keeps unpairing during initial set up I just purchased a new Apple watch series 8 and began to pair it with my iPhone 12.
