I understand that you want to backup the data of a particular app. Do you create backup files on a computer or on iCloud?

If you create backups on iCloud then you can open Settings ➡️ Apple ID (Your Name at Top) ➡️ iCloud:: Here find the app that you want to backup on iCloud and ensure that the switch is set to ON.

If you create backups on a computer then that app’s data will be backed up to the computer backup file.
