connect 2012 and 2017 iMacs together for file transfer in TARGET DISK mode.

Hi, I have a 2012 iMac with all my stuff on it and a failed monitor or GPU. I have also got a 2017 iMac, and I would like to transfer the files from the first to the second, with the first in TARGET DISK MODE.

Q. How do I do this?

On the 2012 iMac there is a firewire800 port. On the 2017imac there are two thunderbolt 3 ports.

Q. Is there a cable or connector in existence to connect these two? Or is there an alternative configuration to allow me to access files on?
