Sharing Apple TV with family

How do I share my Apple TV app with family. The instructions are not clear to me. Do my family members use my I’d and password or do they create their own. I sent the invite to family members but we have been unsuccessful figuring this out. Any **** would be appreciated. Thanks

Do my family members use my ID and password

No, you should not share that!

… or do they create their own.

Yes. Those that do not have such an account yet, should create one for themselves. How to create a new Apple ID - Apple Support

… I sent the invite to family members

The ‘organizer’ would need to send invites to their Apple ID accounts. Then they should accept that invitation. That defines the group.

In addition I expect they will need to set up voice recognition on their own iPhones in order to share the Apple TV subscription. This resolved an issue that I had with Apple Music ("Sorry there is a problem with Apple Music" when my wife requested music from Homepod Siri).

The above Apple links seem to assume voice recognition has been enabled.
