MacMail printing in Landscape or Portrait

Rehashing this query from a few years ago cause it's been giving me a problem and the solutions back then don't solve it now. Each time I want to print an email it prints Landscape instead of Portrait.

The solution is very simple once I found it.

Open the Print dialog in Mail. At the bottom left there is a toggle button - Show Details/Hide Details. Click show details and then you will see the larger Print dialog window with the Portrait/Landscape orientation option.

Maybe Apple would be better defaulting to Portrait in MacMail or having the Print dialog open with Details until the users selects Hide Details. Just my thoughts.
