enable screen share google chrome

I am trying to enable Google Chrome under the Screen Recording Security and Privacy but it doesn't even show up on the list. Can someone help me figure out how to add it so I can enable it? I need it for school.

You don't say what you've done; only that it doesn't work. Have you added Chrome to the right side panel by clicking the "+"?

I am having the same problem. After an update to macOS12.3, using Chrome 99.0.4844.74 I can't share a window or my whole screen. The system preferences app shows that Chrome has screen recording permissions. I have attempted a reboot, selecting/unselecting and restarting Chrome, and neither seems to set or reset the needed permission.
