How do i get itunes to accept mp3 files again
How do i get itunes to accept mp3 files again
There have been several discussions here about this issue. It appears that someone (probably YouTube) has changed something in order to prevent copyrighted material from being added to iTunes.
In case you don't understand what that means; the owner of the music owns the copyright. This change is presumably an attempt to prevent anyone from making illegal copies of music to which they have no right.

Yes, they used to work fine, but im assuming from my research ill just have to give up on the old ipod and just use usb sticks / android phone for music plus a different program to run / organise the music on my pc . shame ive used itunes since the ipod video was current.
Unless there is a way either way thank you for quick response.
Are these problem files rips of audio from YouTube, obtained by using a conversion programme?
That definitely makes sense to me. Still a shame though. I can play and use them with everything accept itunes. Thank you again.
