paying again to watch shows?

The Apple TV app lists and advertises optional content & subscriptions, presumably based on your apparent tastes, that is not included in your Apple TV+ subscription. If you’ve subscribed to Amazon Prime Video, you’ll understand the idea… Apple’s just a bit more subtle in their advertising of optional stuff that you might pay extra for (so subtle that it surprised you :-).

• You get access to Apple TV+ content in the Apple TV app, when signed in with an Apple ID account that has that subscription.
• That subscription would not include movies and TV shows for Buy or Rent from the iTunes Store catalog.
• That subscription would not include other Apple TV app Channels, like Starz or Paramount+, etc.

Not sure why that would happen; it wasn’t even that long. Try to re-load or try a different browser.
