my Mac book air shuts down if I leave it alone after 5 mins
why does my Mac book air turn off (battery is full) after I dont do anything with it after a short time (-5mins)

Are you sure it's shutting down (as in turning off, so that you need to power it back on) or is it simply in sleep mode (where you touch the trackpad or a key to wake it)? If the former, you would need to take it to your nearest Apple Store as that sounds like a hardware issue to me (sounds like something's shorting out).
