Problem making calls on iphone

Today around midday my iPhone stopped working properly. When I made a call I could hear the person I called but they couldn’t hear me. My husband’s phone also developed the same problem about the same time. We were both working from home. We still have the problem 8 hours later. Now I can neither hear the other person when they pick up and they cannot hear me. Same with my husband’s phone. We both have iPhones but different models. His is XR mine is SE. Can anyone advise please?
