My MacBook Pro won't upgrade to Monterey because it's "out of disk space". I am unsure of what this means/how to solve, because I use iCloud and have followed all the steps to "optimize storage" that this article outlines. I've also downloaded "Clean My Mac", deleted apps (even Adobe CC apps [temporarily], which I need for work), and emptied my trash.

What more is there to do? I don't understand how my iCloud can still have available space, the optimization settings can be set correctly, and yet I still don't have enough space to run my computer effectively.

Many thanks in advance!
