I have an @me email address, but I am unable to access it or set it up because I don’t remember my password for it.

The email address ending in xxxxx@me.com should have the same password as your Apple ID that you may have associated it with. If you created that email address while using your current Apple ID, then try your current Apple ID password.

Normally the password is the same as your Apple ID unless you have changed it.
